Good pizza. Order taker/delivery guy was very nice. Good cheesy bread no sauce. Mini Key Lime pie was good as was the peanut butter chocolate brownie. I would eat there again.

My delivered pizza arrived barely lukewarm and the tiny $6 brownie was stale and completely rock hard. i was pretty sad about the entire experience. Credit for having GF options, but I won't be back.

My experience at blue moon pizza was extremely pleasant. Was greeted by smiling, kind staff that led me to the bar. Bartender was bubbly and qualified. She helped me with all my questions and recommended delicious beer. The food definitely hit the spot. The portobello mushroom appetizer was to die for!! Not to mention the quality of the pizza. Even the manager came over to make sure all my needs were satisfied. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

We have tried most of the well-reviewed pizza places in Fort Myers, so we decided to try Blue Moon. Cute name. We got two pizzas delivered. They were OK, close to but definitely not better than the pizzas we have been getting from Pizza2000 and Grimaldi's or Il Pomodoro, but better than Pizza Fusion, not as good (in our experience) as Marsala's but that's over in Estero. The problem is, they are significantly more expensive than most of these others (Pizza 2000 is the current star in value/price ratio, where value encompasses deliciousness as well as ingredient range and quality). We ordered two large pizzas from Blue Moon and paid $50. That's just too much, given that they were not ambrosia. If the prices were more rational we'd give them a second try, but frankly we're happy with the places we've found with good v/p ratios.

So, the man on the phone was kind. Let's start with that. My boyfriend and this kind man went back and forth with the whole ordering food thing (we called in a delivery.) Anyways, in my most nagging voice, I asked him to ask the kind man about dessert. The kind man mentioned key lime pie - to which I grabbed the phone out of his hands and HAD TO ask what color the pie was. The like ... neon-green key lime pie kind of pie is pretty terrible in the spectrum of pie. The kind man said it was more yellow-y. I entrusted this man with my soul - he did me no wrong. That pie made me oh so very happy. More or less good pie, guys. You did well.

We got a coupon in the mail and decided to give it a try ... Very happy we did. Nice clean decor, and awesome pizza . Loved the cheesy bread too . I got the Thai personal size pizza. It was larger than I thought it would be and I enjoyed heating it up the next day . I loved the Thai pizza and will order it on my next visit. Their pizza reminded me of California Pizza Kitchen . Great addition to the fort myers area .

We love blue moon pizza. The prices are good and the food is awesome. The portabela mushroom appetizer is my favorite.

I have been here twice since my first visit and I wonder how other places stay in business compared to the quality food and the stellar service you receive here!! I don't normally order blt's when I am out to eat because of the simplicity of the sandwich (I can whip one up in about 10 min. at home). But after hearing Craig D. talk about it for months, I had to eventually try it. BLT Flatwich - ingredients as follows- Cayenne-candied bacon, lettuce, tomato, house cheese blend, topped with chipotle mayo. OMG is what I thought after my 1st bite. That Cayenne-candied bacon is pure heaven! I love chorizo, and they actually have a specialty pizza (the Luna) that has it as the main ingredient. I stuffed myself with almost the whole thing so I wouldn't have to share. The management here is actually doing their job b/c every employee goes above and beyond. I had Emily today and wanted to ask her if I could have some of whatever she was drinking in the back, hehe. What a sweetheart! Every time I leave I can't wait to come back.

Bbq chicken pizza was pretty good! Buffalo had a little too much of a overpowering blue cheese taste!

Blue Moon Pizza is a very warm and friendly neighbourhood pizza and sandwich shop. We actually ended up getting some chicken flatwiches, and they were delicious. We promised ourselves a go at their pizza the next time we roll into Fort Myers, so there will be an update on that. Good food and good service there.

Love the LaQuintas because they love my dog. They are clean rooms. Haven't had a bad room yet.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The bread was good and the food was fresh. I've had better. The service was good as well. Basically, everything was average. Nothing really spectacular about this place. The salads are served on a pizza dough. Then there's regular pizza. Then there are sandwiches that are basically pizzas folded in half. So I guess if you want salad, sandwiches or pizza.....you're getting a pizza !

Not verry good. The staff seem to be more social with themselves than ther customers. The pizza ingredients all seem to be subpar. Although the resraunt was not verry busy we actually got our appetizer before our drink. Another customer had waited half hour to get a beer. I try to find good pizza that isn't fast food pizza but this place missed the mark. The sauce seemed to have come strait from a can. The pepperoni was greasy and the sausage had an acidic tatste to it. We also had cheese sticks they look nice but had no flavor.

Great pizza! Way better tasting than your chain pizza joints and there are plenty of creative, fresh topping options to choose from (or you can make your own). I would highly recommend giving Blue Moon Pizza a look when you order your next slice!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pizza had a great flavor and was really nice and hot when it was delivered to our table. The ingredients tasted really fresh. We also had dessert. The turtle cheese cake was delicious. Very nice and clean and great looking restaurant both inside and out. Look forward to enjoying the outdoor dining are this winter.

Just another overpriced pizza place that sells itself as fresh ingredients. I agree that it is very salty from some spices they put on the crust area. I don't think they are working out the bugs because that is just how their pizza is and at this price ($22 upwards) for a large thin crust pizza it is way too pricey.

I've been to Blue Moon multiple times now and each time has been great! The Grandma's and Thai chicken pizza are my favorite! The Cobb salad and margarita pizza also delighted my taste buds but all around the place was delish! The interior design is very rustic and gives off a welcoming vibe. The host and hostess were very friendly, opening the door when I went to walk in. All the workers were very attentive and not too overbearing. Their positive attitudes really added to the great experience I had there. And I must say I haven't been disappointed yet! It's hard to find good, non greasy pizza in this town so I'm glad I found this place! I will be returning soon with friends and family! If you haven't tried this place yet, I suggest you do cause it's fantastic!

I find it hard to believe that people still can't make a good chicken wing. Blue Moon's are meaty, but that's all the good you can say about them. I ordered hot, but they tasted more like mild and the "Buffalo" sauce was just terrible. So sad that the only place to get great wings is at Buffalo Chips. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't much better. The Margherita pizza was almost tasteless and arrived undercooked and watery. So much for the curse being lifted at this strip mall with its reconstruction. I'll stick to Citrolas, Grimaldis and the unheralded Pizza De-lux for my NY pizza from now on.

OK-stop! Before you see the three stars please read the review as the restaurant does deserve a try from all the foodies in Fort Myers for another new chain restaurant. I did break my rule about never going to a new restaurant because of a man. The kinks have definitely NOT been worked out. First it is a small chain run by two young entrepreneurs out of Atlanta. So, here are some things to know: The good: Pizza (finally arriving) is decent pizza. Not cracker thin like Papa Johns; not thin but chewy like a real NY slice...but a combo of both. Worthy of trying. Beer-centric and enough choices to make most people happy. They do want to be your neighborhood hangout. Outside seating so you can loud and hangout. The neutral: Walk in and immediately greeted by hostess. High industrial looking ceilings and booths down the wall on the right. Bar and booths segmented by large black partition which forms one side of the booth. Makes the place seem like a long tunnel that opens up to the partially open kitchen in the back. Money went into the renovation, the kitchen, the bar and booths. Not a lot of décor but tasteful enough. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: 1.Noisy due to acoustics. Anyone with oldsters who have any kind of hearing problem will definitely want to eat outside. Sitting on the same side of the booth or table will help. 2.Seated in a booth in bar area and as Charles C mentioned...staff hover like flies at the bar when they are not busy. The only problem? Not one of the them was our wait staff and no one bothered to come and even take a drink order in a restaurant that was less than 25% full. In a bar? Hmmm. 3.Even with all the hovering staff in the corner of the bar, no one even knew who or where our server was when asked. After multiple shared looks and eye contacts with the staff crowd at the bar, the manager sent over another server to get us started. 4. Like I said, its loud in the there...so ordering a Corona got my BF a Peroni. They got my beer correct. Trying to be all 'beer-centric' no one knew what the alcohol content was in any of these beer. No list. C'mon people...it aint that hard to look up and create a list of beer, the alcohol content and the price. Don't spend the extra money revamping the menu. Just make a sheet for those of us who have the appreciation of beers. My beer was on half price happy hour and it was $5? Who pays 10 bucks for a beer. If I am, I better know what the alcohol content is. Bon appetite!

We went for lunch and ordered the cheesy bread app which was super fantastic!! I would come back just for that alone. We also ordered a buffalo chicken flatwich was very tasty. The French fries were a little salty for my taste. Our server Emily was very friendly and attentive.

This place has a nice atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. It is new with all new staff so a few hiccups is to be expected. My family has been there twice Chicken wings were very tasty. Pizza was good however I would ask for it to be lightly cooked being a thin crust it's easy to over cook. The pizzas are huge so keep in mind when ordering all in all I give it an 8 and will be back again.

This was the best pizza I have had in a very long time! Everything was fresh and made from scratch. Appetizers and salad were great too. Our server, Xavier, was awesome. The noise level was high; there was a " Friday Night Out Group " that was loud. But, hey, it's a pizza place.

This place has top notch service and excellent cocktails. The extremely kind and professional manager comes by to check each table during the course of the meal. Outdoor seating is available, but my favorite place to sit is the bar! Sangria is a must.

  • Sharon S.

Pizza definitely sub-par. Doughy crust with little flavor, cheap pepperoni and sausage, lousy cheese. Waaayyyyyy too salty. No doubt to increase the beer tab. Staff will need a lot of upgrading if it is to survive and compete with Grimaldi's and Mona Lisa, just blocks away. They have only been here for a short time but they have plenty of experience in Atlanta so the pizza quality mis-steps are probably here to stay. We won't be back.

Pizza was fantastic, and one member of our party has celiacs disease and loved the gluten free pizza, and especially the gluten free brownies. Service was amazing as well.

My favorite pizza in Fort Myers. In fact, I love it so much, I put a review on my own business website if you'd like to check that out. Thin, crispy, crunchy crust ... and I'm all about that crust!!! culbertsonagency.com/goo…

Excellent gluten free dining. The cheese pizza my daughter ordered was one of the best GF crusts we've ever had (and we live in California where there are tons of options). It was crispy and had great flavor. The GF cheesy bread with dipping sauce was even better than the pizza! They prepare all the GF food at a separate station, so very little risk of cross-contamination for celiac concerns. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful. We didn't try the regular pizza, but I can only imagine it is really good.

Took my wife to the Ft. Myers location on a date before going to see a special show. They held the door open for us both when we arrived and left. The pie was excellent! Our server Stephen even went above and beyond the line of duty with a shirt emergency. Definitely recommend!!

Had a Stromboli delivered to the hotel a couple nights ago. I didn't want to eat the whole thing but it was too good to leave as a leftover! I appreciate that they're closed today, Sunday, but I'd have enjoyed trying their pizza before I head home. I'll definitely order from there again when I'm back in Ft. Myers.

I've had Blue Moon Pizza service twice since they've opened. Once was a pizza delivery and the second was a "to go" of appetizers only. The pizza, a medium (i think.. I was not the one who had ordered it) half cheese, half classic (it was absolutely loaded with sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and peppers) was interesting. The slices were cut in big single serve portions and easily foldable for those who enjoy "that way" of eating. The cheese side was a little drippy on the grease / oil, while the classic side felt like every bite had too much topping. I had seen what the entire pie looked like, and the half with the meats and veg truly had a full topping pizza on just that side. Besides the "negative" complaints, was it cooked? Was it good? Yes and yes. The meats were cooked through so they were crisp, the cheese was gooey (maybe part of the reason it was drippy with oil) and I'll always say "sure!" to a slice. Always willing to try another restaurant's specialties. While the second time I had Blue Moon Pizza, I actually went into the location and did a take away order. It was the Cheese Fries (why? because I wanted to bring home a random app to go with a meal). With the fries covered in bacon, my car smelled like cured meat for 2 days. The website describes the dish as "Perfectly seasoned golden brown fries topped with melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and our homemade cayenne-candied bacon. Served with ranch dressing." Yes, the fries were golden brown and the cheese was plentiful. The downside was the ketchup packets and ranch dressing were on the bottom of the container, so a hot mess of fries, cheese and bacon were sitting on them, not only when it was delivered to my hands, but while I drove home. I didn't partake in any dipping of the potatoes. Outside of that, how was it? For me, way too cheesy and heavy. I may not be used to all that cheese, fried oil or bacon (which there was enough that a baby pig must have helped in the making of this), I felt like I should to go to the gym instead of having company over. Would I get this again? Probably not. All in all: If I make it in for another round of pizza, I shall definitely try some of the more interesting combinations - any of the chicken (Thai, Jerk, Buffalo, Santa Fe) or the Margherita (my stand by no matter where I go). For the prices, although competitive, a personal pie is slightly out of my range for the poultry ones (I've seen similar ingredient pizzas for a couple dollars less). We shall see where time and hunger takes us, and I'm definitely willing to try again!

Best pizza you'll find on this side of Florida. Delicious and unique pizza choices. The Luna is a must. I will be back many, many times.
